Instructions

You will need an Internoise 2018 account to submit abstracts, upload papers, or register for Internoise 2018. This is different than your INCE-USA account or any login information used for previous Internoise events.

Setting Up Your Account

  1. Visit Create an Account
  2. Enter your First Name, Last Name, and Email
  3. Within a few minutes, you will receive an activation email. Click the link in that email to activate your account.
  4. Enter your contact information, desired username, and desired password
  5. You are now logged in with your Internoise 2018 account and can use your username and password on subsequent visits.

Resetting Your Password

If you ever forget your password, follow these steps to reset it.

  1. Visit Forgot Your Password?
  2. Enter the Email that you registered your account with
  3. Within a few minutes, you will receive an activation email. Click the link in that email to reset your account.
  4. Enter your desired Password twice. Note that your username is displayed at the top of the page.
  5. Your password is now reset and you are logged in with your Internoise 2018 account. You can use your username and new password on subsequent visits.

Submitting Abstracts

Before submitting an abstract

  • Create an Internoise 2018 account if you have not already.
  • All abstracts must be submitted online by March 12, 2018 11:59pm UTC. Abstracts will not be accepted via postal mail, fax, or email. Please note that the submission deadline will be strictly enforced and will not be extended.
  • Ensure your abstract is complete and you have all necessary information. You will not be able to update an abstract once it is submitted.
  • Please read the session list to make sure you are selecting the correct session for your paper.
  • Each submitted abstract is limited to 200 words. It should not include equations or references. A typical abstract includes the paper tile, a short description of the problem being addressed, the approach in solving the problem, a description of the results achieved to date, and the main outcome or message of the paper.
  • While authors may indicate a preference for technical sessions and presentation style, it may not always be possible to honor the request. Authors should be prepared to have their abstract assigned to a technical session which the technical committee considers appropriate as either a lecture or poster presentation.
  • Abstract acceptance notices will be sent to authors in April 2018 via email.

Submit an abstract

  1. Visit your Account Dashboard and log in
  2. Click the Start New Abstract Submission button
  3. Select the Primary Session for the abstract. Optionally, you may select a Secondary Session
  4. Enter the Paper Title. Please capitalize the first letter of each word in your abstract title.
  5. If you are the first author, check the box I am the first author
    • Otherwise, if you are submitting an abstract on someone else’s behalf, enter their information in the First Author fields. Please capitalize the first letter in the first and last names.
  6. If the first author is presenting, check the box This author is presenting
  7. If there are additional authors, enter their information. Please capitalize the first letter in the first and last names.
  8. Enter the Abstract Text. Note this field is limited to 200 words.
  9. If this is an invited paper, check the box This is an invited paper
  10. Select an answer for Are you submitting for the Student Paper Competition?
  11. Select an answer for Is this an Oral or Poster presentation?
  12. Select an answer for Do you require a paper review?
  13. Optionally, enter any additional comments
  14. Check the box to indicate your Copyright Agreement
  15. Click Continue to be presented with a review of your abstract. If you need to make any updates, click Edit Information to return to the form.
  16. After confirming everything is entered correctly and completely, click Submit
  17. A confirmation email will be sent from DoNotReply@internoise2018.org

Withdraw an abstract

If you need to withdraw your abstract:

  1. Visit your Account Dashboard and log in
  2. Find your completed abstract submission at the bottom of the page
  3. Click Withdraw this abstract, then confirm your selection
