INTER-NOISE 2018, the 47th International Congress and Exposition on Noise Control Engineering will be held in Chicago, Illinois, USA on 26-29 August 2018. The Congress theme is Impact of Noise Control Engineering. The Congress is organized by the Institute of Noise Control Engineering of the USA (INCE-USA on behalf of the International Institute of Noise Control Engineering (I-INCE).

No refunds will be issued for cancellation of the registration by author delegates since the program is already in the process of being published.
For non-author delegate registrations, refunds will only be issued until 30 days prior to the opening of the Congress, that is 2018, July 25. Before this date, refunds will be issued minus an administration fee of 20%. After 2018, July 25, no refunds will be issued.
INCE-USA is a non-profit organization of professional Noise Control Engineers, incorporated in Washington, DC.
The Institute promotes, through its Members and Associates, noise control solutions to environmental, product, machinery, industrial and other noise issues. INCE-USA Members are professionals in the field of noise control engineering, and many offer consulting services in noise control. INCE-USA Members who are Board Certified in Noise Control Engineering have been recognized by INCE-USA as having attained the highest professional status.
ASME-NCAD
The Noise Control and Acoustics Division (NCAD) of ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) is a program that encourages, focuses and furthers the development and application of noise control and acoustic principles to all engineering branches.
The International Institute of Noise Control Engineering (I-INCE) was founded in 1974. It is a worldwide consortium of organizations concerned with noise control, acoustics and vibration. The primary focus of the Institute is on unwanted sounds and on vibrations producing such sounds when transduced. I-INCE is the organizer of the INTER-NOISE Series of International Congresses on Noise Control Engineering held annually in leading cities of the world (http://www.i-ince.org/).
